Winding up July

Day by day these months are flying by.  I'm pleased that I was able to meet my One Monthly Goal and get extra done this month.   I wanted to get the crazy stitches on this wool mat on at least 6 of the seams....

And #12 the final crazy stitch seam... the center chain stitched. 

Next is all the details with in the areas. 

So here is it  - top done.  just need to put a back on it and bind it.  
So happy I was able to finish it.  The friend it is for has her Birthday in August, she'll be surprised it's done.

July Craziness

Hello all and welcome to July.  Not sure why, but I always want to make up a catchy title for my post.  :)  Crazy is very fitting for our current world - and so is what I've decided to work on this month.  Primitive Gatherings "Crazy" Wool Table Mat.  

I need to do all the crazy stitches in between all the sections.  There are 12 seams, including the ring around center.  For my One Monthly goal, I want to do at least half (6 of the 12) crazy stitch seams. 

This will be the fifth one I have done for my friend Cheryl. The first 4 were the seasons, and since her Birthday is next month I thought I'd get going on it.  I really doubt I will finish it - but I can get it going.
