I know there is a saying about March coming in like a lion, but our March came in with Bull Riding. However before I elaborate on that, I wanted to share my Crabapple Hill Design Stitch along that finished on March 1st.
It will be some kind of wall hanging for my sewing room, however I'm not sure exactly how I want to do it yet.
So the Bull Riding - One of the local Casinos was hosting a couple of nights of PRCA Extreme Bull Riding and offered us free ticket so we went. My husband and I always like a good rodeo and so they didn't have to twist our arms too hard.
One of the funniest things was when a bull was going back into the chute, the guy closed the gate then all the sudden the gate opened the man started running and the bull was chasing him. It looked like a comedy routine.
They also had a bull jumper during one of the breaks between events. It was amazing the bull would run at him, the guy would jump up and the bull would run right under neath of him.
I'm taking these images off a video I took so the quality is not wonderful - but gives you an idea of what happened. The rodeo helper runs towards the guy in white so the bull would chase, then runs past him and the guy in white jumps over the bull.
Fun night of entertainment for sure.

My Sister and Brother in law also went but since they purchased their tickets and we got ours free we were in different sections, so we met them for dinner before we went. They were across the arena from us so we could see them.... barely :)
It was too bad we couldn't have sit together, but I had a very nice evening with my hubby.
The retreat started the next day and I'll post about that in the next post.
Blessings,
Lynn
