Lilly Pad Quilting (Blog) is having a Blog Hop for Cabin Fever and a Give Away. You can read all the details on how to enter for yourself by clicking on the name above, or click here.
She had one of these Cabin Fever Blog Hops a few years ago and we were having a really bad snow and ice storm in Oregon at the time. I live in Arizona now but our Children and Grandchildern still live in Oregon and they are getting hit with lots of snow and ice again. So lets get on with the Cabin Fever Party. Snoodles at Lily Pad Quilting was wondering what everyone is up to while we're waiting the winter weather out.
I'm working on my UFO's, however I'm also working on a few new things too. With my UFO's I have some I'm doing monthly and some I'm working on all year long.
Here is a UFO that I want to work on off and on all year. Bertie's Through the Year.
Then for a monthly one - in February I want to work on Ruby Red Dot.
New this year are the Bag Ladies of the Fat Quarter Club. There are 12 wonderful pre- printed, pre-colored embroideries. You can get these from Chickadee Hollow Designs and if you mention Barbara from Catpatches and you will get a discount. Barbara is also hosting a FB page and a Link up each month on her Blog. Click her name above or here.
Meet Ernestine - Ronnie Lyn
Next meet Charlotte - Gloria
I have given them alternate names, you can read why in this post here.
Also new I am starting a new quilt kit that I got at Christmas time.
I think it will go together pretty fast and easy and am hoping to have the top done during a retreat I am going to this month.
Also new - I am designing a block to be taught at one of a guilds. I will be using a combination of 3 different applique types within the one block. Here is the sketch of that.
Also new I am doing a block for a quilt that will be raffled off. I will be doing this needle turn applique.
and if all of this isn't enough to get me through February - I've got mug rugs for Charity that need to be done and plenty of quilt tops to quilt.
That's what I'm up to - What about you?
Thanks so much for stopping by and please don't forget to go back to Lily Pad an check out what everybody else is doing.
Blessings, Lynn
